ABOUT ST. AIDAN'S

Thank you for visiting our website. My name is Lynda Dunne and this is my first year as the director of St. Aidan’s Day School. I have three children that attended St. Aidan’s, and have been on staff since 2010 as a teacher, librarian, and Assistant Director. It is a privilege to work with our families as well as a dedicated staff. It is our goal to provide your child with a loving, nurturing and stimulating environment where they can play, grow, make lasting friendships, develop problem-solving skills, and feel successful and self-confident.

Our philosophy is “Learning Through Play”. Each child grows and develops at his or her own pace – emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically. Yet all of these elements are interdependent. Our program reflects this and respects the integrity of each child.

We are here for you and your child so please feel free to contact us at any time.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is that children learn through Play, and so we provide lots of opportunities for the social and emotional development, creativity that comes through play.  We believe children benefit from a steady diet  of the 3 M's- Music, Movement, and Mess-y sensory hands-on experiences.

OUR HISTORY

Since 1966, St. Aidan's Episcopal Day School has been a mission of St. Aidan's Episcopal Church. We have been in a partnership with the church on community events and our children enjoy weekly Chapel with Reverend Laura Cochran, Rector of St. Aidan's.  For more information, please visit the church's website here.
